Niki McNiven

BELA’s Director of Education & Programming

Niki McNiven serves as BELA’s Director of Education & Programming, bringing over 23 years of educational experience to the BELA team. Niki holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology, a Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. For the past 15 years, she has worked extensively in Learning Support, Academic Advising, and Inclusive Education, developing a strong passion for supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of children and youth.

As BELA’s Director of Education, Niki works closely with the team to support educational programming and ensure that each child’s individual strengths and needs are at the heart of their learning experience. Her extensive background in education, inclusive learning, and counselling psychology brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to early learning and child development.

Niki is passionate about creating inclusive, supportive environments where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. She is grateful for the opportunity to support BELA’s educators, students, and families during such an important stage of a child’s educational journey.
