Krystie joined the BELA team in 2019 moving from a substitute role to a permanent one in 2020. Krystie brings with her a wealth of valuable knowledge and experience that allows her to take on the role of Early Childhood Educator. Krystie studied Education and Childhood Development at Medicine Hat College before working in the Pre-K environment for Grasslands School Division. Krystie worked with children with special needs and those learning English as a second language. She has an in-depth understanding of diversity and inclusion and is passionate about responding to the individual needs of each student; encouraging them to grow and develop at their own pace.
