Staff Janessa Slaney

This is Janessa’s first year at BELA but has been both a parent and then substitute staff prior to officially joining our team in the 2025-2026 school year.  She has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. She was a supervisor at a local daycare for 6 years. She is passionate about children and she considers being a mom to 3 kids to be one of the greatest gifts!  She joined BELA because she likes the atmosphere and the family feel. Her hobbies include camping, boating, quadding and travelling. Janessa is experienced, knowledgeable and a positive influence in the classroom!
