Carmen Powell acts as the Director of Operations, managing the day to day details of both BELA and the over arching charitable organization of which BELA is a part. Carmen has extensive experience in management, both in the profit and non profit business sectors. Before founding BELA in 2012, Carmen worked for organizations in Calgary & Edmonton in roles such as project management, volunteer management, program delivery and operations management.
